Places to See : Delhi - Udaipur - Pushkar - Jaipur - Agra - Gwalior - Khajuraho - Varanasi - Delhi
Day 01 : Arrival Delhi.
Upon arrival at Delhi International airport you will be greeted in traditional Indian style by our representative who will assist you to your reserved Hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay will be in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi Sightseeing.
After a lavish breakfast you will be taken to for combined tour of Old Delhi & New Delhi. Sightseeing of Old Delhi includes visit to Jama Masjid also called Friday congregational mosque where thousands of Muslims turn up in large numbers to offer Namaz on Fridays, Red Fort - An important symbolic monument located in the heart of Old Delhi built of red sandstone and Rajghat a simple black marble platform considered as the last resting place of Bapuji. Later enjoy a rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk believed to be the best place for shop alcoholic. New Delhi holds attractions like Qutab Minar considered as best example for Indo Islamic architecture can be seen from most parts of the city, Humayun's Tomb one of the fulgurous landmark which explains the Mughal architecture at its best. Evening drive past through India Gate & President’s Palace. Later you will be transfer to the Hotel. Overnight stay will be in Delhi.
Day 03 : Delhi - Udaipur by Flight.
After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport to board the flight for Udaipur popularly known as ‘City of Sunrise’. Upon arrival Udaipur airport, you will be transferred to the Hotel already reserved for you. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 04 : Udaipur Sightseeing and boat ride on Lake Pichola.
After breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of Udaipur city. Visit City Palace whose construction was initiated by Maharana Uday Singh where one can find rooms decorated with mirror tiles and paintings. Also visit the famous pleasure park, Sahelion ki Bari gardens or Garden of Ladies served as a place of frolic & enjoyment for the household ladies. Later proceed to Jagdish Temple dedicated to lord Jagannath is made in Indo-Aryan style of architecture. Lastly enjoy the boat ride at Lake Pichola which will take you to Jag Niwas Palace. Also visit the City Palace, Borra Mahal, Khas Mahal and the courts, gardens and fountains. Later visit Jag Mandir Palace as well. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Day 05 : Drive to Pushkar (275 Kms/ 5 hrs). Pushkar Sightseeing.
Morning after a lavish breakfast in hotel, leave for Pushkar. Upon arrival Pushkar check into the Hotel & after freshen up enjoy the Pushkar Sightseeing. Pushkar is mainly famous for its cattle fair celebrated in the month of Kartik Purnima (Full moon day of Oct / November). Visit the most important of all the temples, Brahma temple dedicated to Lord Brahma – The Creator of the World. Next visit Savitri temple dedicated to first wife of Brahma. Pushkar fair holds attraction for animal trade & pilgrimage. This is believed to be the largest camel fair where cultural events & exciting camel-cart races took place. Overnight stay will be in Pushkar.
Day 06 : Drive to Jaipur (150 Kms/ 3 hrs).
After breakfast drive to the capital city of Rajasthan. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel already reserved for you. Evening you can enjoy Rajasthani Folk dance with the local cuisine. Overnight stay will be at Jaipur.
Day 07 : Jaipur Sightseeing.
Start your day with an excursion to Amer Fort blending both Hindu & Muslim elements is well known for its unique artistic style. The place where you will enjoy the Elephant ride. Ascend the fort like a king on elephant’s back. Later visit Jaigarh fort also known as victory fort which was built to improve the security of Amber & Jaipur. Afternoon enjoy the city tour which includes visit to Hawa Mahal which was built to allow the royal ladies to observe the day to day activities without being seen, Jantar Mantar observatory constructed fully with stone & marble has an excellent collection of astromical instruments and City Palace Museum, a blend of Mughal & Rajasthani architecture displaying a huge collection of paintings, weapons, textiles & priceless handwritten Hindu scriptures. Overnight stay will be at Jaipur.
Day 08 : Drive to Agra (223 Kms/ 5 hrs).
After a relaxed breakfast drive to Agra, once the Mughal capital is home to Taj Mahal, the most famous of its stupendous monuments. On arrival Agra, check into the hotel. After freshen up, enjoy sightseeing tour of Agra visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) - the world famous love monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved queen “Mumtaz Mahal. One is left speechless with the capturing beauty of this white marble beauty. Construction of Taj Mahal was started in 1631 AD and was completed in 1651 AD, Agra Fort – described as walled palatial city built in 1565 to study the evolution of Mughal Architecture from red stones to white Marbles. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 09 : Agra to Orchha via Gwalior (250 Kms/ 5-6 hrs).
After breakfast, proceed to Gwalior - A historic city founded by King Surajesan, Gwalior, the formerly princely state of Madhya Pradesh, is famed for its outstanding palaces, sacred temples and glorious monuments. Visit Gwalior Fort - Standing on a long narrow rocky hill of sandstone, which rises abruptly 300ft. above the surrounding countryside, the fort of Gwalior is known as the "pearl in the necklace of the castles of Hind". If time permits, also Saas Bahu Temple, Teli Ka Mandir. Continue drive to Orchha. Check into the hotel. Night stay at Hotel in Orchha.
Day 10 : Drive to Khajuraho (180 Kms/ 4-5 hrs)
Orchha is a small town located on the banks of River Betwa and literally translates to "hidden place "and is a well known tourist Destination. Orchha is home to Bundella style of architecture and the palaces of Orchha bear witness to the wonderful work of medieval architects. The prominent amongst this are Raj Mahal and Jahangir Mahal. The other attractions include the Raj Mahal, The Sheesh Mahal, the chaturbhuj temple. Then drive to Khajuraho. The Chandela temples at Khajuraho are among the most creative examples of Indian architecture and is celebrating its Millennium. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of the erotic sculptures. The sculptures of Khajuraho depict the everyday life of the people and the court in 10th and 11th centuries. Reach Khajuraho and check into the hotel. Night stay at hotel in Khajuraho
Day 11 : Khajuraho sightseeing. Khajuraho to Varanasi by flight.
Morning after breakfast, enjoy sightseeing tour of Khajuraho visit Eastern and Western Group of Temples. Later transfer to Khajuraho airport to board flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi, our representative will meet you and escort you to your pre-booked hotel. Varanasi, sprawling along the left bank of the holy River Ganges, is the holiest city for Hindu region. The Shrines, Old Temples and Palaces rising in several tiers from the water's edge makes Varanasi one of the most fascinating cities in the East. In the evening enjoy grand arati ceremony at Holy River Ganges. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 12 : Varanasi sightseeing. Excursion tour of Sarnath.
Early morning, get ready and enjoy boat ride on River Ganges to witness the early offerings and prayer on the bank of Holy River Ganges. Enjoy rickshaw ride to the ghat. Proceed on a tour of the temples of Varanasi visit the Golden Temple dedicated to lord Shiva, The Durga temple dedicated to goddess Durga and Banaras University. Come back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, enjoy excursion to Sarnath (10 km from Varanasi, Sarnath is the place where Mahatma Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples, preaching the middle path for attaining 'Nirvana'. Evening drive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 13 : Varanasi to Delhi by flight. Departure from Delhi.
Intime, transfer to Varanasi airport to board the flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, board your international flight back to home or onward destinations.
